• Master Bedroom: The master bedroom features a traditional brass ornamental double bed, providing a comfortable and classic sleeping space.
• Second Bedroom: The second bedroom is equipped with two wooden bunk beds, each 6 feet (1.8 meters) long.
• Railway Memorabilia: The Carriage is adorned with railway memorabilia, including antique signs, lanterns, and other historic pieces, creating a nostalgic ambiance that transports guests back in time.
• Bathroom: In the middle of the Carriage, you'll find a convenient shower room and toilet for your comfort.
• Open-Plan Kitchen and Lounge area: The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes an electric hob, microwave, oven, fridge, toaster, kettle, and a sink. It provides all the amenities needed for preparing meals during your stay. The lounge area features a flat-screen TV/DVD player, a traditional sofa, and a chair, creating a comfortable space to relax and unwind.
• Heating & Cooling: The Carriage is equipped with electric radiator heaters, a wall panel heater, and a cooling fan to ensure a comfortable temperature throughout the year.
• Recycling: Recycling bins are provided to support Kaikoura's 100% recycling ambition. Guests are encouraged to wash, separate, and recycle the waste they produce during their stay.
• Outdoor Space: Outside, the Carriage offers a spacious decking area, perfect for outdoor gatherings, and a large grassed open space where guests can enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings.
• Amenities: Guests have access to bathroom robes (adult sizes only), bed linen, and towels. A gas barbecue is available for free use, and there are tea and coffee making facilities. Toiletries are also provided for your convenience.
• Utility Inclusions: Your stay includes the cost of electricity and gas to heat the water, ensuring a worry-free and enjoyable experience.
. Continental Breakfast: Upgrade your stay to include breakfast @ $30 per-property-per-day + $5 per-person-per-day. We leave your breakfast items in your property, for you to prepare at a convenient time. We wash the dishes when you leave each day, and restock if necessary.
Unfortunately, we are not able to cater for dietary preferences, so there will be: wheat, gluten, flower based whole grain bread and a selection of breakfast cereals provided, along with standard: full-fat milk, butter, jam, tea, filter coffee, sugar, plus seasonal free range farm eggs and fruits. If you need alternative breakfast items, please bring some that are suitable.
